Amanda Prehn serves as the Principal of Lake Travis Elementary, bringing extensive experience in curriculum, instruction, and educational leadership. Prior to her role at LTE, she served as a building principal at both the elementary and middle school levels within Lake Travis ISD, as well as district-level leadership positions supporting a wide variety of instructional programs including, bilingual education, gifted and talented programs and special education services. She is deeply passionate about supporting student growth and partnering with families to ensure every child’s academic and personal success.

Mrs. Prehn is a proud parent of two children in Lake Travis ISD and a long-time Lakeway resident. Lake Travis ISD has been home to her family for more than two decades and is near and dear to her heart. She is committed to fostering a positive, collaborative school culture built on strong relationships, high expectations, and shared responsibility.

Mrs. Prehn is honored to serve the Squires as their principal. She is proud to work alongside an exceptional team of educators, dedicated students, and highly supportive families. Through this strong partnership, Lake Travis Elementary continues to be a place where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to succeed. She is deeply proud of the collective work taking place each day to ensure every Squire thrives academically, socially, and emotionally.

Ms. Bryan is honored to have been a proud Lake Travis Elementary Squire for the past six years and is excited to begin her first year as an assistant principal. With 16 years in education, she spent 12 years teaching special education before serving in the Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) role for the past three years. She earned her undergraduate degree in Special Education from the University of Texas at Austin and her master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University.  LTE holds a special place in her heart both as an educator and as a parent, with her son currently in third grade and part of the Squire family. She believes LTE is the place to be! 

I am honored to return to Lake Travis Elementary as Assistant Principal. When I first moved to Austin 12 years ago, I began my journey with Lake Travis Elementary and am thrilled to once again serve the amazing students, staff, and families of this community. After spending the past two years as the Multilingual Education Coordinator in Eanes ISD, it feels great to be back home at LTE.

With over 24 years of experience in education, I am passionate about fostering strong relationships and creating a school environment where every student is supported to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe in the power of teamwork, clear goals, and a shared commitment to excellence. I look forward to partnering with our staff and families to ensure a positive and engaging school experience for all.

Ms. Robles Romero has been working at LTE since 2025. With a foundation in Marketing and Training and development across Latin American countries, she later transitioned to education as a Bilingual Parent Liaison, leveraging her cross-cultural communication skills to strengthen school-family engagement. She holds a bachelor degree in Information Technologies from La Salle University in Mexico City, and a Marketing certification by the University of California Berkeley. Her passion is supporting growth and learning in diverse environments. Being part of LTE has been an amazing and rewarding experience, allowing her to build connections with families and support student success. 

Mrs. Moore has been working at LTE since 2017. She is from Valencia, Venezuela, and moved to Texas almost 20 years ago. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Dentistry from the University of Carabobo in Venezuela, she also has a Major in Modern Languages in English. Before living in Austin she lived in South Texas for 10 years. She has two kids, both attended LTE during their elementary years.  

She enjoys spending time with her two kids and pets, going on walks, she loves to travel and visit new places especially the beach. Her hobby is crafting jewelry, watching tv, and reading about mysteries!

I can hardly remember a time when I was NOT a Receptionist at Lake Travis Elementary! I have been at LTE for 16 years, and have enjoyed every minute of it. I love our campus for many reasons but one of my favorite aspects of LTE is its diversity. It is also very rewarding for me to use my (limited) Spanish to help parents and students.

I am a native Texan, and grew up in Houston and Fort Worth. I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, and am married to a TCU Horned Frog. My husband, Jim, and I have been married for 30 years and have two grown children, Will (23) and Audrey (20). Both of our kids are “lifers” and went K-12^th in LTISD.

I love to cook, watch sports, travel, do yardwork and entertain. My favorite thing to do is have my kids back home with their friends for holidays and weekends…. I miss those days!  Enjoy them while you can – they grow up fast!!
