Hey Everyone! My name is Laura Reed and I’m so excited to be a part of the Lake Travis Elementary team as your counselor. I was an elementary school counselor in AISD for 8 years and I absolutely love working with this age group. I grew up in New Orleans, got my Masters in Educational Psychology from UT and have been in Austin ever since. I have 2 teenage boys who recently left for school and they are the center of my universe. Besides them, I adore traveling, running or swimming laps when I can. Also, the color pink puts me at ease, so don’t be surprised if you see it all over my office! I look forward to being able to help students, faculty and parents meet their needs in any way I can.
